  i started painting classes with andrea two years ago. i had never painted or studied art before except for one drawing class at mesa cc. from the time i walked in the studio door everything was positive and encouraging. andrea's enthusiasm is so enabling that my first painting was amazing and magical to behold. i became inspired to paint portraits and have completed almost 20 pictures since starting lessons. andrea says anyone can paint if they follow his instructions, and i have seen one student after another accomplish wonders under his direction!
