  Unbelievable place, grounds are the best of any high school I've ever seen or heard of. The tremendous amount of resources (equipment, facilities, teachers, coaches and support staff) they have for students is what every parent would dream of and every student hope for.

  Last year my daughter was a freshman. We are a military family and in July 2016 we were just returning from 2 year orders to Spain, and had never touched foot on the Cathedral Catholic High School campus. Middle school was difficult for her because I forced her to attend Spanish school (she spoke about 15 words of Spanish), and believe me 13 year old girls are mean everywhere, in every language! She lasted 8 months, then we sent her to the DOD school on base (another story). She was very nervous starting high school, and she knew no one at Cathedral. When I picked her up after the first day, I asked her to tell me everything. She started out fine: "We went to Spanish first, then Religion, then I was in the middle of the Quad and realized that we had a 20 minute break and I didn't know anyone and I was feeling anxious, and didn't know what to do. These two girls walked up to me and asked if I was a freshman, I said yes, and they introduced themselves, and told me to look around, that every person I could see, even the priests, had a first day of high school and that if I needed anything to come to their lockers, then they noticed another girls by herself, and we all went over to her and made her feel better." Then she broke down in heaving cries, when I asked her what was wrong, she looked at me and said "they don't even KNOW me and they're nice to me". Such relief and tension rolling off her shoulders, so happy and welcomed, I burst into tears, too! That was her first day at Cathedral, and every one since has been better than that day! Excellent place, safe, warm, comforting, community, friendly, respectful. We love it there!
