  Great show by Ari Hoenig yesterday. Sound levels were off (piano and bass were too low, drums too high), and agreed upon by others I spoke with. I really love that Dizzy's pulls great talent to San Diego and that it seems like a small operation (so I understand they are trying), but the venue was lacking in amenities that one would expect with a jazz venue. I hope they can find a permanent venue that works a little more in their favor.
