  It is a great little Park, steps from the old and longest pier in the US, and has a couple picnic tables, and just 100 feet from the ocean or less.
  Directly across the street it's a little coffee shop and a short walk of a couple minutes will bring you right on Newport Avenue which is the main drag in Ocean Beach with all the restaurants and bars and shops.
  Sometimes during the day that will be various little groups of homeless kids hanging out in the park, though everybody can enjoy the park, and everybody is friendly.
  There is a small parking lot next to the park, which is adjacent to the Lifeguard Tower. If you would like to go to the beach in OB, especially on the weekend the best advice is to get there very early so you get a parking space in the parking lot or very close on the street.
