  I've bought two houses and both houses are in San Diego in the Sabre Springs area. I have also talked to 4 different agents to get buy and dealt with 2 agents with whom I bought from. All I can say is that Terry Shiotani at R.B. Haley has been by far the best agent I've ever used or done business with.
  
  The first couple of agents were a stereotypical agent in my opinion. They both were professional enough to show me houses and set up a feed for me to look at houses on but really, they didn't care about what I wanted or what would have been the best for me. They all showed me houses that would make them the best commission.
  
  The third agent I talked to, the one I used for house #1 was off of ziprealty. She ended up costing me a ton of money because I closed on my house while I was out of the country and I asked her to fax in one of the tax forms for me. She ensured me that it would not be a problem and she'd be glad to do it. Fast forward two weeks when I return, she didn't do it and I'm out 10k. Not only that, but when it was time to get the keys, the seller's agent contacted me directly to get the keys. We met up and that was that. Three days later, my agent called me asking if I was ready to get the keys... Talk about dropping the ball.
  
  So fast forward to the latest home purchase. I wanted to find someone who would actually pay attention and someone that would be able to show us (family of 3 now not just me) around to houses that would be the best for us, not them. In steps Terry.
  
  Terry was perfectly aggressive when it came to showing us houses. She first set up a feed that had all the houses that had our on paper requirements, 4/3 with 2 car garage. After the first two showings she started to put her filter on the houses after she knew what we were looking for. The houses she ended up showing us were a lot closer to what we wanted, but still nothing perfect. When we did find THE house we wanted, Terry was on top of everything to get us an offer super quick. The house went on the market Friday, we saw it Sunday, and we were in escrow on Thursday. All because Terry was on top of it all with our loan agent. The kicker for this? This was all just before she went on a vacation. The escrow process all happened when she was on vacation and she was still replying to e-mails and taking care of us. Talk about dedication.
  
  So logistics aside, another great thing about Terry was her sensitivity and availability. She was very accommodating to our schedule and she also was very helpful for taking care of our 2 year old. Our daughter warmed up to "Auntie" and eventually got to the point where when we would look at houses, Terry could put her hand out and the kiddo would just go with her while the wifey and I would walk around and check out the house as we needed to.
  
  In the end, Terry has been the best realtor I've ever dealt with and went to bat for us when we needed her. She did a great job closing for us and I won't be using another Realtor if circumstances can allow for it.
  
  TL:DR - Terry here is a great agent that will take care of you and your family with your family as her priority, not her paycheck.
