  I have worked with Rod for a couple of years. I've purchased a pair of Chelseas, two marine chronometers and a couple of misc, pieces. This has all been done by phone and email. I've been very pleased with Rod's expertise, his understanding of the products and their history, the care in shipping and handling that is given the products and his willingness to help guide me on my marine chronometer collection. Every encounter has been top rate and I plan to continue buying from him as the $$ allow.

  I purchased another chronometer from West Sea and had it shipped to me. Arrived in excellent condition. They do a great job in packing and really care to make sure the pieces arrive in pristine condition. It's always great working with them. DH

  West Sea Co. is by far one of my favorite places to shop for authentic nautical antiques. I have been several times and always find something I "can't live without" so to speak. From 19 century scrimshaw, sextants, books, bells, helms-wheels and even a harpoon. The staff is always welcoming and willing to let you see anything of interest to you. I highly recommend this store to anyone who holds an interest in nautical antiques!
