  Karl Strauss in Sorrento Valley can not be beat for a business lunch and a beer. This location has primarily outdoor seating (with plenty of heaters for cool days or nights) and despite being in the middle of a huge corporate park, feels like eating by a lake in the woods.
  
  The food is standard Karl Strauss brew pub fare, which is to say it's really good but not exceptional.
  
  Definitely a recommended lunch or happy hour restaurant.

  I came as part of a banquet, so the experience is a little different. The "spicy" tofu curry was not spicy, despite the name, but it was delicious!
  
  The overall atmosphere is great, with the deck facing a koi pond. Definitely a calm, Japanese garden vibe. (An interesting choice for a brewery/restaurant.)
  
  Parking was rather difficult. We parked on the street around 1pm. But I would definitely come back.
