  20 year loyal Lexus owner who takes my cars in for all of the regularly scheduled maintenance services at the nearest Lexus dealer. I drive low mileage and I rarely have repair issues with my cars. I take my RX in for a simple headlight replacement and was quoted about $230 for both the headlight and the 35,000 mile service. Later I get a call with a surprising litany of issues the techs “found” on my 35K mileage car that now drives the bill over $2,000 - seriously!! This kind of service surprise has caused me to start considering BMW with their maintenance inclusive car pricing. It did not help that I had a newbie service advisor who perhaps thought it was ok to run up the service bill. Nobody likes these kind of surprises right before the holidays. Lexus can do better.
