  We picked up take out sushi tonight, and when we got home we discovered that the avocado was brown with spots all over it, every roll was like that! Very dissatisfied with the quality of food! The avocado was rotten and the cucumber was translucent. When I called to complain I was told that avocado goes brown, well I know that! but any sushi take out should be fresh and no brown spots all over it. We always get sushi take out, and this is unacceptable. I asked for a credit card refund and they said that I needed to bring the food back, I live 20 minutes away, no way! They said that I was taking advantage of them, and that they wanted proof. I explained that I was already home with 3 kids, and could not go. They insisted and I told them that I could not at that moment. They then said that they wanted my signature to do the refund, I told them once again that I could not drive there. They said they voided the transaction, I will confirm with Amex. Little tokyo was good a few years ago, lately it has been mediocre to bad. Aside from take out, we also liked eating there. The Last dine in meal we had there, we complained about ripe hard avocado and bad service (slow, 1 waiter, forgot items, etc), we will NEVER return! Will now go to sushi on the rock in 4s ranch, very sad, as we had so many fond memories of family celebrations at little tokyo sushi. Oh well! this is how you lose customers! with bad quality food and bad service.

  2:30 pm, I was the only sushi bar customer and only 3 other customers at tables. Had to wait 12 minutes for sushi chef (2 working) to come out of back to take my order. Placed order for 1st roll and got it and waited 10 minutes after eating it and asked the waitress to tell the chef I wanted another roll, waited another 12 minutes and both chefs came out of back and he could not understand what I wanted, a roll that I had been buying there for over 10 years, ended up arguing with him and the waitress came over to interpret...waitresses are fantastic, but chefs customer service rates a 0!!! You could not pay me to go back there and a had been a semi regular customer since the restaurant opened!!
