  I just opened new bank accounts at Mission Federal Credit Union, and I was absolutely amazed at how well I was treated and at the efficiency of their setup. I've been with one of the big national banks since I first moved out on my own 13 years ago and boy, did they have me trained well --- trained to believe that I was lucky to have bank accounts at all and not to question their systems, fees, or call wait times. I can't believe it took me so long to check out a local credit union, but you know how it is: it'll be hard to change my accounts, everything's tied to it and automated, they have branches everywhere, blah blah blah.
  
  To be treated like a human being by your financial institution - I haven't had that expectation in years. What a breath of fresh air when I walked in today and met Sisenando. I know everyone gets treated well when you're a potential customer, but this was different. For the first time maybe ever, the thought of "banking" is not fraught with anxiety over what's going to happen when I try to jump on the assembly line and get a little attention.
  
  Very, very happy with my experience today - should have moved my accounts years ago.
