  I understand that when you bring your pet to the vet precautions must be maintained. That goes without saying but one shouldn't be so quick to pass judgement, with there eyes wide shut. I took my roommate Mercedes to the local Inhumane Society for a round of vaccine shots. Right away were quarantined from the rest of the line by a overzealous volunteer. As I've stated before Mercedes had an adverse reaction to a flea application that almost killed her and left her with scar tissue along the back of her neck. Now these scars are over a year old and have healed over, yet when the the volunteer noticed them she had to make the biggest scene. I had to go stand over there and wait for approval from the doctor. I tried to explain the if, when, why and what as I've done numerous times, but to no avail. The all-knowing doctor had to be summoned and that's when it quickly turned to a case of dumb and dumber. After looking now poor, scared Mercedes up and down the brilliant doctor concluded that it had to be some undiscovered tropical new age disease that will one day bare the great doctors name. So we got denied treatment and turned away.Hate to burst your bubbles ladies but it's just scar tissue. You would expect the staff at the Inhumane Society to know the difference.
